Poly Furniture is durable, low-maintenance, and high-quality in design. Because of its durability, there are plenty of methods of cleaning poly that won’t cause any damage. Here are a just few cleaning products and options to choose from:
Simple Soap and Water
Unlike wood, you don’t have to worry about poly material warping or cracking. It’s completely waterproof. That means you are free to use warm water and dish soap to wipe away those pesky stains. Poly is also a durable material so you won’t have to worry about scratches from rough clothes, and brushes should be safe to use as well.
Magic Erasers
Magic erasers have been known to take off virtually every stain known to man and they’re perfectly safe to use with poly. Because the color in poly is integrated into the plastic and not painted, you don’t have to worry about the color being rubbed off. In fact, the magic eraser is more at risk for wear and tear than your furniture is.
Pressure Washer
If all of the methods above failed to remove your stains efficiently, using a pressure washer is another option. You’ll want to be sure your pressure is set to be under 1,500 psi, but we doubt you’ll need anything close to that to clean everything in the first place.
There are plenty more methods you can use for cleaning poly furniture. The options listed above are the most common and accessible for all ranges of stains. Feel free to use your favorite soaps and homemade cleaners to see how clean and new your poly furniture will look.
